PADI Divemaster Course


Just meeting the prerequisites for the PADI Divemaster Course alone is a great accomplishment. By the time a diver is ready to enroll in the Divemaster Course, he or she has learned a great deal about diving through training and practical experience. The Divemaster Course elevates the candidate’s knowledge and experience to a level that is expected from a diving professional. By earning the PADI Divemaster certification, you will have taken your first solid step into diving’s leadership ranks.



Prerequisites
To take this course, you must

- be certified as a PADI Rescue Diver
- be 18 years of age or older
- have completed and logged at least 20 dives
- be fit for diving and submit a medical statement signed by a physician within the last 12 months

The PADI Divemaster Course can be completed in 7 days.

 
PADI Assistant Instructor Course


The teaching skills you will develop during the PADI Assistant Instructor Course will allow you to independently conduct several PADI Programs and with some further training from the PADI Course Director you can also teach non-diving specialty courses. Assistant Instructors are Dive Educators who assist with the knowledge development of the student. Taking the PADI Assistant Instructor Course will take you one step closer to becoming a PADI Open Water Instructor.

Prerequisites
To take this course, you must



- be certified as a PADI Divemaster or hold a leadership level certification with another recreational diver training organization
- be 18 years of age or older
- have been a certified diver for at least 6 months and have completed and logged at least 60 dives
- be fit for diving and submit a medical statement signed by a physician within the last 12 months

The PADI Assistant Instructor Course can be completed in 4 days.

 
PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor Development Course (IDC)


The PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) rating is the first PADI instructor level attained by dive professionals. During this training you will review PADI Standards, procedures, philosophy and teaching methods as well as hone your practical teaching abilities, watermanship, and diving knowledge. As a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor you may conduct the entire range of PADI programs, from Discover Scuba Diving to Divemaster

Preparation Course: August 17th and 18th (optional)
PADI Instructor Development Course from August 19th to August 27th (Including EFR Instructor Course)
PADI Instructor Examination August 28th and 29th
Master scuba Diver Trainer (Specialty Instructor Courses) From August 31st to September 6th (Optional)

NOVEMBER
Preparation course November 24th and 25th (Optional)
PADI Instructor Development Course November 26th to December 3rd (Including EFR Instructor Course)
PADI Instructor Examination, December 4th and 5th. 
Master Scuba Diver Trainer (Specialty Instructor Courses) from December 7th to December 14th (Optional)

Prerequisites

To take this course, you must

- be certified as a PADI Divemaster or hold a leadership level certification with another recreational diver training organization
- be at least 18 years of age
- have been a certified diver for at least 6 months and have completed and logged at least 60 dives
- be fit for diving and submit a medical statement signed by a physician within the last 12 months

The IDC can be completed in 9 days (with e-Learning option 6 days).

 
PADI Specialty Instructor Course


Become a PADI Specialty Instructor and teach about your favorite scuba diving subject. Choose your favorite specialties and a PADI Course Director will teach you how to teach the PADI specialty courses by providing you valuable teaching tips and techniques. It is highly recommended to participate in Instructor Specialty Courses as it provides hands-on training, demonstration techniques, course marketing information and information about the current PADI Standards as well as accelerates your qualification to teach the particular specialty.

Prerequisites
To take this course, you must



- have done 10 experience dives in each particular specialty
- minimum number of certification not required
- be a renewed PADI Assistant Instructor, a PADI Instructor or have completed an IDC program within the past 12 month.

The PADI Specialty Instructor Course can generally be completed in 1 day (depending on the particular specialty).

 
PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer Course


Become a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT) and show your commitment to continuing your dive training and be prepared to help others continue their training as well. As a MSDT you can help other divers reach the highest level of recreational diving so they can become one of the best of the best.

Prerequisites
To become a MSDT, you must

- be a renewed PADI Assistant Instructor, a PADI Instructor or have completed an IDC program within the past 12 month.
- have five PADI Specialty Instructor certifications
- have certified at least 25 PADI Divers

The PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer Course can be completed in 2 days.

 
PADI IDC Staff Instructor Course


During this training you will overview the entire PADI Instructor Development program and learn to act as an assistant during the Instructor-level training Courses and will work with a PADI Course Director to develop the Instructor candidates’ teaching abilities. Together with the Course Director, you will be evaluating the knowledge development and the confined and open water presentation of the IDC candidates.

Prerequisites

To take this course, you must be a renewed Teaching Status PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer 

The PADI IDC Staff Instructor Course can be completed in 9 days.

 
Emergency First Response Instructor Course


The Emergency First Response Instructor course provides qualified individuals with the additional training necessary to teach the Emergency First Response Primary Care (CPR), Secondary Care (First Aid) and care for children courses. This course builds on the candidates’ skills as primary and secondary care providers and focuses on developing their instructional abilities

Prerequisites

To take this course, you must

- have completed a sanctioned course in adults and child/infant CPR within the past 24 months
- have completed a sanctioned course in basic first aid within the past 24 months
- be 18 years of age or older

The Emergency First Response Instructor Course can be completed in 1 day.
